FAMILIES FIRST

Families First of Palm Beach County has been a beacon of hope for over 35 years, by providing essential support to families facing challenges and empowering them to create safe, loving homes for their children.

Their comprehensive services focus on family strengthening, health, behavioral health, and housing, ensuring that families receive the support they need to thrive.

Many of the 57,000 children and family members served through their prevention and early intervention services since 1990 have returned to being contributing, self-sustaining members of our communities – saving taxpayers millions of dollars in dependency and criminal justice services, special education, homeless services, and financial aid.

Families First Maternal and Infant Mental Health Programs support children and families at the earliest point possible, from prenatal care to age six. They build strength across communities though outreach and delivery of their proven programs, Healthy Families, Child First and Infant Mental Health Services.

When you’re a new parent or caregiver, it can be overwhelming, confusing and, yes, scary. The maternal child health and infant mental health programs help guide new parents on their journey of parenting our youngest children. This critical time in the life of a family is an opportunity to inform, impart skills, develop bonds, and connect resources that circumvent potential trauma and break patterns of generational adversity.

You are invited to join in making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families in Palm Beach County by sponsoring the 19th Annual Children’s Day Luncheon on November 7, 2025!
